Ingredients

Main
  • 6 ounces frozen orange juice concentrate Use concentrated goodness for intense flavor.
  • 1 cup milk Use whole milk for a richer drink or adjust based on preference.
  • 1 cup ice cubes Use about six to eight cubes depending on size.
  • 2 tablespoons sugar Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract Add slowly to avoid overwhelming the orange flavor.
  • 0.5 cup water Optional, adjust for desired consistency.

Method

  1. Start by tossing one cup of ice cubes into your blender. This will create the frothy texture we desire. Make sure the ice is not too large to ensure smooth blending.
  2. Next, add 6 ounces of frozen orange juice concentrate to the blender with the ice. This concentrated juice will provide the intense orange flavor.
  3. Pour in 1 cup of cold milk and add 2 tablespoons of sugar. This will balance the tartness of the orange juice and create a creamy texture.
  4. Slowly add 0.5 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the mixture. This will enhance the flavor without overpowering the orange.
  5. Secure the blender lid tightly and blend on high speed for about 1 minute, or until the mixture is smooth and frothy. The drink should be creamy and uniform in color with a slight foam on top.

Notes

Serve immediately while frothy and cold. For best texture, let ice sit for a minute before blending. Adjust sweetness and milk type based on preference.
