Method
Prepare the Marinade
- In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Marinate the Chicken
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it is fully coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to overnight for maximum flavor.
Preheat the Grill
- Heat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard any excess marinade.
Grill the Chicken
- Grill the chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Brush some reserved marinade on top during grilling for extra flavor (optional).
Serve
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Pair with summer sides like corn on the cob or a fresh salad.

Notes
- For more caramelization, brush additional honey on the chicken during grilling.
- If you don’t have a grill, you can bake the chicken in an oven preheated to 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes.
