Ce n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas un voyage simple ; il fallait g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement au moins une heure, parfois plus, impliquant plusieurs bus, trains et lignes de m\u00e9tro. Mais peu importe le temps que cela prenait, mon ami Stephen et moi pensions toujours que cela en valait la peine. Nous attendions souvent avec impatience de d\u00e9guster un pouding au riz chez <a href=\"https:\/\/forlunch.pro\/murrays-restaurants-history\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-schema-attribute=\"about\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Murray&rsquo;s<\/a> lors de nos p\u00e9riples.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nous \u00e9tions des passionn\u00e9s de <a href=\"https:\/\/forlunch.pro\/quick-lunch-ideas-before-catching-a-show\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"3576\">cin\u00e9ma<\/a>, si d\u00e9vou\u00e9s que nous avons m\u00eame cr\u00e9\u00e9 notre propre soci\u00e9t\u00e9 cin\u00e9matographique au lyc\u00e9e. Chaque semaine, nous d\u00e9pliions avec enthousiasme l&rsquo;\u00e9paisse section des annonces de films du journal local, cherchant minutieusement les nouveaux films \u00e0 l&rsquo;affiche au centre-ville. Nos plans \u00e9taient \u00e9tablis si un film prometteur \u00e9tait projet\u00e9 dans l&rsquo;un de nos vieux cin\u00e9mas pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9s, des lieux comme le Palace, le Capitol, le Seville, ou particuli\u00e8rement le Loews.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mais aussi excit\u00e9s que nous \u00e9tions par les films, nos excursions avaient un autre point culminant tout aussi important : le d\u00e9jeuner au Restaurant Murray. Situ\u00e9 \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 pratique de ces cin\u00e9mas, <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/forlunch.pro\/category\/reminiscence\/murrays-restaurant\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Murray's\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"3578\">Murray&rsquo;s<\/a> n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas qu&rsquo;un simple restaurant &#8211; c&rsquo;\u00e9tait notre lieu de pr\u00e9dilection, presque une tradition en soi. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apr\u00e8s avoir termin\u00e9 nos repas, nous n&rsquo;avons pas pu r\u00e9sister au riche et cr\u00e9meux <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/forlunch.pro\/fr\/marketing-daffiliation\/\" title=\"Marketing d'affiliation et autres avertissements\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"5425\">pudding \u00e0 la cr\u00e8me de riz<\/a>, qui est devenu notre plat f\u00e9tiche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selon l&rsquo;heure de d\u00e9but du film, nous choisissions parmi plusieurs emplacements de chez Murray&rsquo;s, y compris celui de <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Laurentian_Hotel\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Laurentian_Hotel\" data-schema-attribute=\"about\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Laurentian Hotel (l&rsquo;H\u00f4tel Laurentien) , ouvert assez tard pour satisfaire nos app\u00e9tits d&rsquo;apr\u00e8s-film. Murray&rsquo;s \u00e9tait plus qu&rsquo;un simple endroit pratique; d\u00e8s qu&rsquo;on y entrait, on se sentait imm\u00e9diatement \u00e0 l&rsquo;aise. Le Hamburger Royal se d\u00e9marque vivement : un hamburger ouvert avec des frites croustillantes ou leurs m\u00e9morables pommes de terre rissol\u00e9es dor\u00e9es. Mais si je n&rsquo;\u00e9tais pas d&rsquo;humeur pour un hamburger, je savais que je pouvais compter sur leur filet de sole parfaitement tendre ou leur copieuse tourte au poulet.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pourtant, certains jours, les plats du jour sont irr\u00e9sistibles. En choisissant l&rsquo;un de ces plats, vous obtenez un repas complet : un bol r\u00e9confortant de soupe maison, aux l\u00e9gumes ou du jour, des petits pains chauds ou leurs fameux muffins &#8211; au ma\u00efs ou au <a href=\"https:\/\/forlunch.pro\/fr\/muffins-au-son-des-restaurants-murray\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/forlunch.pro\/bran-muffins-of-murrays-restaurants\/\" data-schema-attribute=\"about\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">son &#8211; et<\/a>un dessert soigneusement r\u00e9pertori\u00e9 sur une petite carte plac\u00e9e \u00e0 chaque table. Le choix du dessert n&rsquo;\u00e9tait jamais facile, surtout avec des choix comme l&rsquo;inoubliable tarte aux pommes, servie traditionnellement avec une tranche de cheddar fort, ou la chaleur r\u00e9confortante du <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/forlunch.pro\/le-9e-eatons-montreal-iconic-restaurant\/\" title=\"Le 9e : R\u00e9ouverture d&#039;un restaurant Art d\u00e9co embl\u00e9matique de Montr\u00e9al\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"5424\">pudding aux fruits \u00e9tuv\u00e9<\/a> pendant les mois les plus froids.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pouding au riz cuit au four : Un d\u00e9licieux souvenir<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cependant, le dessert qui se d\u00e9marquait &#8211; celui auquel je reviens toujours en pens\u00e9e &#8211; \u00e9tait le Pouding au riz de Murray.
